General Casualty recently launched its most personalized auto product, FlexAuto, to its Iowa independent agents.
Using multivariate rating, the program simultaneously considers a number of customer traits and how they affect each other and automatically assigns an appropriate market tier. The result: personalized, competitive rates based on policyholders’ individual attributes and driving habits.
FlexAuto allows agents to easily quote quality coverage for a broad spectrum of customers, from an agency’s best drivers to those who’ve had a few bumps in the road. It offers faster rating with a streamlined, user-friendly online quoting and submission system, which the company designed with agent input.
"FlexAuto rates individual drivers on their own merits and experience," said Dan Hill, senior vice president of personal lines. "With such accurate pricing and an easy, online quoting system, we hope agents consider General Casualty every time they quote an auto policy."
Bill Besonen, Des Moines branch vice president, added, "FlexAuto helps independent agents expand their personal auto market share with General Casualty, and its competitive rates helps agents retain their best customers."
General Casualty is demonstrating its continued commitment to personal lines by introducing FlexAuto in other Midwestern states over the next several months. The new product replaces General Casualty’s previous auto programs, Premier Auto and Generations®.
