General Casualty recently promoted Paul Schulte and Rick Wittmann at its Sun Prairie, Wis., headquarters.
Paul Schulte was promoted to senior vice president of General Casualty’s personal lines department following a 12-month appointment as interim department head. Schulte has worked for the Company for more than 35 years and most recently served as the assistant vice president of personal lines operations.
Schulte earned a bachelor’s degree in business. He holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and is a member of the CPCU’s Dairyland and national chapters.
"During the past year we've made significant progress to position General Casualty as a lead personal lines carrier due to Paul's interim role as department head. I'm confident the business will continue to build on this momentum under his leadership," said Pete McPartland, president and CEO of General Casualty.
Rick Wittmann was promoted to assistant vice president of General Casualty’s home office marketing department. He has held numerous financial positions with General Casualty since joining the Company in 1989. He oversees the marketing department’s financial responsibilities.
Wittmann earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Certified Public Accountant also has designations as a Certified Treasury Professional and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance.
