Fred Haas and Kathy Suhey, of General Casualty’s special investigative unit (SIU), were recently recognized by the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) Wisconsin Chapter.
Fred Haas won the Don Bragg Spirit Award for his time, talents, professionalism and efforts in helping further the group’s goals. Haas has been an IAAI volunteer for more than 20 years and helps train community firefighters, law enforcement and insurance professionals. He has eight years of experience in the insurance industry and more than 30 in law enforcement. Haas is a senior SIU investigator at General Casualty and has been with the company since 1996.
Kathy Suhey was elected president of the group. She previously served as vice president and has been an IAAI member for more than 20 years. Suhey is General Casualty’s SIU manager. She’s been with the company since 1991 and has 20 years of claims and SIU experience.
